THE FOLLOWING IS A LIGHTER MODEL CALLED SUPER COMPACT
The above is our Stevens Super-Compact Model.
It is made lighter than either our
Supertough Heavy and our Supertough Light.
Notice that there are not the 7 layers of steel in
hinge assembly. However we have never had a
hinge like this wear out as it has hardened ball
bearing race sleeves in all levels. It is more
economical as we use 1/4" blades, lighter blade
towers which makes it more affordable for
budget conscious customers.
Kindly examine all the following closeup pictures of how a
Stevens Supertough Light tree spade is designed and built.
It is made lighter but is extremely strong with
same GUARANTEE as SUPER TOUGH MODELS
This is a Supertough Light made a little bit lighter
for use on smaller tractors
This Supertough Light spade has 6 layers of steel in hinge assembly
and all layers have hardened ball bearing races with greaseways.
This is toughest time proven hinge assembly
made on any tree spade in our industry.

Frame hinge on Supertough Model made with 7 layers of steel
FFrame laminated with 1/2" thick T1 steel.
Gate cylinder ears part of frame and will not break off.
This frame is toughest frame made on any tree spade period.
Blade towers surrounded by T-1 steel are impossible
to break off under extreme hard digging.

break off or stretch out holes in hard digging.

THEY ARE AVAILABLE FROM 24" TO 75"
TRUNCATED AND CONE MODELS AVAILABLE
THEY ARE MADE LIGHTER BUT ARE STILL SUPER STRONG.
Blades made from T-1 steel 3/8" thick. AR 400 optional.
T-1 Steel is actually stronger but AR400 is more abrasion resistant.
Blade slide comes with large area nylotron wear pads
which are replaceable externally without taking blades slides off.

This is a Superlite 54 frame made from 3x3 square tubing.
We can custom design and build for you a tree spade
heavier if you have a heavy lift loader..
Frame can be upgrade to 4 x 4 x 3/8" at nominal fee.
